Beginner Taekwondo Taegeuk 1 Demonstration
Most martial arts teach set patterns of kicks, blocks and punches in order to train students in proper technique. In Taekwondo, these patterns (or poomse) are known as Taegueks. There are more than a dozen patterns to learn in Taekwondo and each builds upon the last and is taught as you advance in belt levels.
Taekwondo classes are an excellent way to get a full body workout, develop concentration and confidence. And, if you find working out at the gym is boring, you will probably find that a Taekwondo class if far more enjoyable. You will make friends, reduce stress and feel accomplished with each belt you earn.
