Demo of Standing Stretches in Taekwondo
As discussed in our last blog post, like anything, it is important to warm up at the start of a Taekwondo class to avoid pulling any muscles during your workout. Your instructor or an experienced student will lead you through a series of exercises at the beginning of class which typically includes some stretching.
When you start your Martial Arts journey, you will most likely find that your range of motion isn’t as good as you would like but with practice, you will see a difference. Where you might have once only got halfway to touching your toes, with time and consistent practice, you will find that you can get all the way there and feel victorious!
