If you’re looking for martial arts for teens and adults in Waterloo, you’re in the right place. Ms. Charlotte at D’Souza Martial Arts Academy began her study of Tae Kwon Do more than 15 years ago and has been teaching both kids and adults for more than 10 years.

Life is busy and somehow, you need to find time for physical fitness for your health and wellness and to better manage the day to day stresses. If you find yourself skipping the gym to sit on the sofa after a long day at work, maybe it’s because you find it a little boring. Tae Kwon Do may be the answer. Not only do you get an awesome full body workout but classes are fun. Our students find that the time passes quickly and little by little, their self-confidence grows in learning something new.

Martial arts classes are a great way to improve your overall health. You’ll get a great cardio workout, and strength training all in one hour. Your blood pressure will improve, your cholesterol will lower and you will sleep better. And, over time and with regular class attendance, you’ll take off some pounds.

We also offer classes for kids from age 3 and up so that if you’re looking for a family activity, martial arts classes are ideal. Both you and your child can attend family classes on Saturday mornings and work out together.

In addition to regular classes, we also offer special workshops from time to time include specialized self defense classes for both women and men.
