Taekwondo Axe Kicking Video Demonstration
In Taekwondo there are a variety of defensive and attack maneuvers that you will learn. Kicking is a very big part of Taekwondo training and one of the first kicks you will learn is an axe kick. Typically, you will practice the axe kick with your instructor or a partner who is holding a kicking pad. Practicing the axe kick not only builds your ability to execute it properly but it also builds up your stamina and your muscle strength particularly in your thighs but also the muscles in your backside.
Below you can view a short video demonstration on how to perform an axe kick.
